Safety and cleanliness is of the upmost importance to us. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking soft play equipment from The Lily Pad Soft Play. By proceeding with a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Booking and cancellation
To book our services, please check availability via our contact form or through contacting us via Facebook or WhatsApp. A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your booking, with the balance due two days before your hire date. Payments can be made via BACS or an address can be given for cash payments. In the event of cancellation, the deposit is forfeited. However, with more than 14 days' notice, the deposit can be transferred to another date, subject to availability. Changes to bookings must be emailed and agreed upon. Prices are subject to change, excluding confirmed bookings. If The Lily Pad Soft Play cancels, a full refund will be issued, unless due to weather for a outdoor event where the booking will be transferred to a different date. Soft Play Hire includes setup and clear away at the times agreed upon the deposit being taken.
Delivery, setup and collection
The hirer must check site measurements and ensure adequate space around the equipment. If sufficient space isn't available, you'll still be charged, but we'll set up as much equipment as safely possible. The 4 hour hire includes set up and breakdown, please see indvidual packages for the time this takes.The hirer must ensure easy venue access for unloading and loading, reporting any restrictions like parking, barriers, stairs, or narrow doorways at time of booking. Failure to do so may prevent delivery. We only deliver to ground floor venues. Free delivery is within 15 miles of Watchet; beyond that, a fee applies. While we aim to deliver on time, we're not liable for delays beyond our control, like traffic or bad weather. We're not liable for accidents, injury, or damage during hire and recommend the hirer's insurance. Soft Play equipment such as the ball pit, tunnel and step and slide must not be moved. Any damage, loss, or soiling must be reported immediately. We'll assess damage and agree on action with the hirer. An invoice for loss/damage or cleaning may be sent at a maximum cost of £50.
Health & safety guidelines
It is the hirer's responsibility to ensure all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage. Our soft play is for children under 6. Keep equipment clean; extra cleaning charges may apply if it's returned dirty. No food, drinks, or chewing gum near the equipment to avoid choking and mess. All shoes, glasses, jewellery, and badges must be removed before use. No face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers, or silly string near the soft play, as they can stain. No smoking near the equipment. A responsible adult (over 18) must supervise at all times. We are not liable for accidents or injuries and recommend the hirer's take out their own event insurance. Please limit numbers based on children's age and size - children must be under 6. Children must not push, collide, fight, or behave in a way likely to cause injury or distress. No pets or sharp instruments near the equipment. Ensure a 3-foot (1 metre) clear area around the equipment.
General
For ball pits, please collect the balls and place them back in the pit at the end of the hire. Report any equipment damage to The Lily Pad Soft Play ASAP, as it may incur an additional fee. The hirer is responsible for any loss of equipment during the hire period and will be charged accordingly. The Lily Pad Soft Play has Public Liability Insurance (£5 million), available upon request. Soft Play Hire Promo Codes apply only to only to hires over £70, and are subject to availability. The Promo Code must be communicated at the time of booking.
